# IBEX Token Utility ## Revenue Sharing All interest income on the platform is automatically split between lenders and protocol, with lenders collecting at least 80% and Impermax collecting up to 20% of each payment. Protocol revenues are currently distributed to token holders through staking. The IBEX token is a simple governance token based on the model of other DeFi lending projects like Compound.
